It’s been said that we live in the “Age of the Petabyte,” soon to become “The Age of the Exabyte,”—and those bytes have the potential to radically transform our business and our life; considering this- On 15th March 2014, Saturday GVPCSAA organized expert lecture on “Hadoop and Big Data” by a subject matter expert Dr. Zakeer Laliwala at Hirak Mahotsav Hall. Mr. Zakeer Laliwala is an open source specialist and a founder of Attune Infocom Pvt. Ltd. This lecture was open to all. The lecture was full of information and was very useful for attendees. The lecture mainly focused on latest trends and technologies involve with Big data and Hadoop. It also includes information about various database used for Big data and how Hadoop functions. After that Mr. Rishi Patel gave detailed information and live demonstration of installation and configuration of Hadoop. All the attendees’ found this lecture very useful and full of information.
